Mercy High School is realizing a decade-long goal of creating an even more innovative instructional model. This expanded model is designed to optimize the availability and use of 21st century tools and, thus, to impact positively overall learning and comprehension. As always, Mercy recognizes and teaches the importance of developing sound moral judgment and clear reasoning skills. In an ever increasing digital world, it is all the more important to emphasize this.

It is essential that students prepare for college and beyond by learning to articulate and to share their ideas through the spoken and written word as well as electronically. It is important that students become comfortably fluent in and responsible users of technology--including the various hardware and software means that assist them in collaborating with their peers, mentors and teachers. Mercy has made available the most up-to-date computer technology to students while inside and outside of its classrooms. Thus the students’ connection to and accessibility of the Mercy community is ongoing and seamless in this ever more dynamic educational environment.
